Innovative Training Networks (ITN)
Innovative training networks (ITN) are funded by the EU and bring together universities, research centres and companies from different countries worldwide to train a new generation of researchers.
The funding boosts scientific excellence and business innovation, and enhances researchers’ career prospects through developing their skills inentrepreneurship, creativity and innovation.
The following ITN is currently implemented at our faculty:
- ANTIVIRALS - European Training Network on Antiviral Drug Development (2015-2019, MSCA-ITN-2014-ETN)
Participant: Thierry Langer
Terminated ITNs:
- CALIPSO - Ca2+ and light signals in photosynthetic organisms (2013-2017, FP7-PEOPLE-2013-ITN)
Coordinator: Markus Teige
- INTERFACES - Ecohydrological interfaces as critical hotspots for transformations of ecosystem exchange fluxes (2013-2017, FP7-PEOPLE-2013-ITN)
Participant: Tom J. Battin (now EPFL Lausanne)
