Patterns and Processes in Plant Evolution and Ecology

Plants are the backbone of life on Earth and, like all other groups of organisms, plants have had an evolutionary history during which they have changed and diversified. The key research area addresses the evolutionary and ecological processes that have given rise to present patterns of plant diversity. It also examines how to maintain plant diversity in the future.
