The human right to food and its implication on the availability of meat

The right to food, and its variations, is a human right protecting the right for people to feed themselves.

The right to food protects the right of all human beings to be free from hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition. The question now arises as to whether this right to food also applies to meat - an option which we have without great limitations in Europe. For many countries around the world it is hardly applicable to this extent. Can this claim be fulfilled worldwide in an ethically, ecologically and economically just form?
