For most animal groups it is still completey unexplained why so many species live there. An international research team led by Patrick Strutzenberger from the University of Vienna and scientists from Germany and the Czech Republic has tracked down the evolution of a species-rich genus of moths and has found out why they are so evolutionarily successful.
