Bachelor thesis on Japanese macaques

Three students of behavioural biology, prepared their Bachelor thesis on the "Affenberg".

There they observed the behaviour of about 160 Japanese macaques. After an introduction on the theory of behavioural observation (how to define variables, which methods are available for data collection, etc.) and after two training days to consolidate the variables and the execution of the protocols in the field, the studentsfound their topics: Stone handling, Handedness, increase of aggression and mating behaviour over the observation period (beginning of mating time).
