Diversitas Award for Women in Biology

The University of Vienna has been awarded one of this year's Diversitas main prizes by the Ministry of Science with its focus on "Multiply Diversity". The Women in Biology - Initiative is one of the five awarded initiatives.

  •  Faculty of Law/Faculty of Social Sciences: Research Platform GAIN - Gender: Ambivalent In_Visibilities

  • Children's Office of the University of Vienna: UniClub - Learning Space

 

The Diversitas Prize was awarded by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research for the fourth time on December 12, 2022. The prize is intended to sustainably promote the awareness and increase the social and organizational consciousness for a gender and diversity-oriented equality policy and organizational development at Austrian higher education and research institutions. The main prize is valued at 25,000€ and will be divided equally among the five initiatives of the University of Vienna.
